Democracy Awareness Raising Foundation is one of the first civil society organizations in Ukraine to have systematically promoted civic education and the development of political culture since the late 1990s. Over more than 25 years of activity, the Foundation has implemented numerous educational initiatives — from school-based democracy camps to national and international conferences — published methodological guides and analytical reports, and contributed to the formation of an entire generation of engaged citizens and democracy professionals. Today, the Foundation continues its mission, adapting its programs to meet contemporary challenges.

Our work is guided by the classical values and traditions of European education, which remain both our ideal and our source of inspiration. As one of the pioneers in the field of civic and political education in Ukraine, we feel a deep sense of responsibility for every project we undertake — and take great pride in our work.
